The 2025 postgraduate commencement and degree awarding ceremonies of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) kicked off at the Jiangjunlu Campus on April 2.
On behalf of their peers, six graduate students from colleges including the College of Aerospace Engineering, College of Energy and Power Engineering, and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering gave speeches expressing gratitude to their alma mater and sharing their aspirations for the future.
Zhang Qiqian, vice-president of NUAA, presented letters of appointment to the 2025 graduate alumni ambassadors, who serve as a vital bridge between alumni and their alma mater.
During the event, Xu Hongyu from NUAA's micro aerial vehicle innovative design team and alumni ambassador Huang Linhan presented a gift to the university -- a structurally transformable land-air amphibious robot independently developed by NUAA postgraduate teams, as well as the roster of 2025 postgraduates. This tribute embodied both the students' strong affection for their alma mater and their dreams of exploring new horizons.
Jiang Bin, president of NUAA, delivered a speech, extending congratulations to the postgraduates while expressing heartfelt gratitude to mentors, faculty members, and parents of students.
He urged the postgraduates to uphold the university's philosophical motto "explore the universe and enrich the world", carry forward its ethos of unity, frugality, pragmatism, and innovation, and strive to become a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
