Established in 2005, the College of International Education at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) is a key demonstration base for international student education designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It is also one of the first institutions to obtain China Quality Certification of Education for International Students by Ministry of Education.
Leveraging NUAA's global leadership in aviation, astronautics, and civil aviation, the college has cultivated nearly 10,000 professionals from over 120 countries, including more than 1,300 technical professionals from the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, who are now promoting the development of aerospace industries in over 50 nations.
The school has developed a comprehensive academic framework, anchored by seven English-taught undergraduate programs, covering 22 first-level discipline master's programs and 17 doctoral programs.
With its 379 self-developed English courses meeting international standards, six have been recognized as national-level excellent courses, and 21 as provincial-level excellent courses. Its 38 original textbooks are adopted as reference materials by over 100 universities worldwide.
The college has established a global collaboration network across six continents, featuring joint training agreements with 47 renowned institutions, including France's Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, Moscow Aviation Institute, and the University of Edinburgh.
The college's "perceiving China" cultural initiative, through flagship events like the international cultural festival and "Exploring China" programs, hosts diverse cross-cultural exchange activities.
The college has ranked among the top 10 Chinese universities in overseas online influence for six consecutive years and secured a position within the top 50 Asian universities for international education in the QS World University Rankings 2023. It currently boasts over 1,000 international students from 96 countries.
