Established in 1984, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences includes two departments: the Department of Law and the Department of Public Administration.
The college has developed distinctive academic and research strengths in aviation and space law, internet and artificial intelligence law, low-altitude economy policy and legal systems, and emergency management in civil aviation.
The college houses several high-level think tanks such as the Aviation Industry Policy and Regulation Research Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the CAAC Research Institute for Technology Policy and Services.
The college is the chairing institution of the Industry Policy and Regulation Research Division of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
The college currently employs 83 faculty and staff members.
