Yufeng Garden is located in the western section of the Jiangjunlu Campus of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, covering an area of approximately 30,000 square meters.
Completed in just 165 days, the garden was inaugurated on the occasion of the university's 70th anniversary. Its name, Yufeng, meaning "riding the wind", is derived from the university anthem.
The garden features 17 aircraft and aerospace exhibits, including China's first domestically produced trainer aircraft CJ-5, the K-8 basic trainer, the J-8 and J-8 II fighter jets, the all-weather FC-1 twin-seat fighter, the AG600 large amphibious aircraft static test model, the Long March 4 launch vehicle, and NUAA's self-developed large unmanned aerial target CK-1.
These exhibits collectively showcase the achievements of China's aerospace development.
Since its opening on October 29, 2022, Yufeng Garden has hosted over 1,000 visits consisting of nearly 300,000 people, including students, partners, and members of the public. It has become a significant site for education, inspiration, and the celebration of aerospace heritage.
