The Aerospace Education and Teaching Base at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is located on the university's Jiangjunlu Campus.
By showcasing spacecraft and teaching aerospace history, the base aims to cultivate future aerospace talent and inspire people to contribute to China's space endeavors.
The indoor exhibition area covers approximately 400 square meters, consisting of a foyer and a teaching section.
The foyer offers a broad overview of the development of aerospace technology both in China and abroad.
The teaching section focuses on the main categories of spacecraft — satellites, rockets, missiles, and space instruments — and presents their technological evolution, development processes, actual hardware, and models.
The base opened in October 2022 and has since welcomed over 13,000 visitors annually.
