Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) invites the public to propose names for a high-resolution intelligent dual-carbon remote sensing satellite from Feb 25 to March 15.
Developed by NUAA's Joint Laboratory for Space Intelligence Perception and Big Model Application in collaboration with Huantian Wisdom Technology Co, the satellite employs hyperspectral remote sensing to detect atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations. It features high temporal resolution, high spatial resolution, high spectral resolution, high sensitivity in CO₂ concentration detection, and intelligent situation awareness.
Submission requirements:
-The name should have two to four Chinese characters, reflecting themes of "commercial aerospace, dual-carbon strategy, and intelligent sensing" while also illustrating innovative ideas and engineering features of the satellite.
-It should integrate traditional Chinese cultural elements for easy recognition, memorability, and promotion.
-Submit a creative description of up to 300 words.
-Entrants must commit to submitting original work and only one entry per person.
Awards:
Grand Prize (one winner): 3,000 yuan ($416.54) + honorary certificate
