The History Museum of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is located on the Minggugong Campus, inside the Huicui Building. Completed in 1955, the building is one of the university's oldest and best-preserved structures. In 2018, it was designated as the permanent site for the museum, which opened to the public on October 18, 2019.
The museum covers a total area of 1,489 square meters, with approximately 1,000 sq m of exhibition space. It features four main exhibition halls on development history, talent cultivation, scientific research, and Party leadership. There are also two auxiliary sections for a digital sand table and alumni activities.
The exhibition route extends for about 320 meters and includes around 740 panels and 14 screens. By combining historical archives, multimedia technology, and spatial design, the museum illustrates NUAA's 72-year journey of growth.
Since its opening, the museum has received over 2,100 groups and more than 40,000 individual visitors, including national and local government officials, students, and alumni.
