Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics held its 2025 undergraduate commencement ceremony on June 20 at its Jiangjunlu campus.
Jiang Bin, the university's president, extended congratulations to all graduating students, encouraging them to push technological boundaries and pursue breakthroughs in key technologies as they step into the next chapter of their lives.
Liu Sheng, a distinguished alumnus from the Class of 1979 and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared memories of his days as a student at NUAA. He offered a message of perseverance, passing on the words of his own teacher: "No step in life is wasted; every step counts."
Ten outstanding graduates received the 2025 University Achievement Award in recognition of their academic excellence and contributions during their time at NUAA. Eleven graduates shared personal stories of growth, with some choosing grassroots roles and many committing themselves to scientific research.
During the ceremony, Zhang Qiqian, the university's vice-president, presented appointment certificates to the newly designated Alumni Ambassadors of the Class of 2025. These ambassadors will serve as bridges between fellow alumni and their alma mater after graduation, fostering closer ties and collaboration.
The ceremony marked both an end and a new beginning, as the graduates prepared to carry NUAA's spirit into industries, research institutions, and communities across China and beyond.
