Professor Richard Curran from City St George's, University of London, was recently appointed as a visiting professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Curran currently serves as a professor of aviation management and director of Sustainable Operations Aviation Research at the School of Science and Technology. He is also a member of the scientific committee of Single European Sky ATM Research and a member of Eurocontrol's aviation research team. Recognized worldwide for his expertise in design and simulation practices, he is widely regarded as an authority in the aviation industry.
During the appointment ceremony, Curran praised NUAA's achievements in discipline development, teaching, and research in the field of aviation. He expressed his commitment to deepening collaboration with NUAA in academic research and talent training.
