Student representatives delivered a poetry recitation, expressing their excitement and aspirations as they embarked on their new journey at NUAA. Freshman Chen Zimo shared his story of being inspired by China's C919 passenger aircraft, which led him to pursue his dreams at NUAA. He pledged to use his personal ambitions to benefit the country's aviation and aerospace undertakings.
Thirteen faculty representatives delivered video messages to the new students, promising to guide them with firm beliefs, high moral standards, professional expertise, and compassion, helping them grow into well-rounded talents.
During the orientation period, NUAA also launched a special activity themed "To Myself in Four Years". Each freshman wrote a letter to their future self, which was then placed in a time capsule.

The capsule's design was inspired by Tianxun-1, a microsatellite independently developed by NUAA and launched on Nov 9, 2011. The satellite, which operated reliably for four years, represented the fulfillment of NUAA's dream of building its own spacecraft.
