KMITL delegation visits NUAA to deepen cooperation in education, research

A delegation from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on Nov 6.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics including a framework agreement, joint talent training, faculty exchanges, collaborative research projects, and the development of joint laboratories, and reached preliminary consensus on several areas.

Jitnara Nawarat, legal advisor to the president of KMITL, said that the university, one of Thailand's leading science and technology institutions, has made outstanding innovations in the aerospace engineering and aviation industries. He expressed a desire to deepen and broaden cooperation with NUAA and inject fresh momentum into technological innovation and industrial development in the aerospace sectors of both countries.

Huang Zhiqiu, deputy director of NUAA's University Council, pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Thailand. Since enrolling its first Thai students in 2009, NUAA has trained a number of outstanding Thai graduates who have contributed to bilateral friendship and industry development. He noted that the visit signals a new stage in partnership, expressing hopes for practical cooperation in student exchanges, joint research, and academic programs to cultivate more high-caliber talent with global perspectives.
