Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kazakhstan's Center for International Education and Innovation under the Ministry of Education, together with the Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan.
The agreement was reached during a recent visit to NUAA by a Kazakh delegation led by Aiman Abzal, director of the CIEI.
Under the cooperation framework, the three parties plan to establish a research institute as the core platform. The initiative aims to pool resources and promote cooperation across talent training, research collaboration, industry engagement and standards development.

Jiang Bin, president of NUAA, said Kazakhstan plays an influential role in Central Asia and has distinctive strengths in both education and technology development. He expressed NUAA's willingness to deepen its cooperation with Kazakhstan's education authorities and universities in areas such as degree programs and collaborative research on frontier technologies.
Abzal noted that NUAA's academic strengths, research capacity and talent training system align well with Kazakhstan's development needs. She said Kazakhstan looks forward to building a long-term, stable and results-oriented partnership with NUAA.
