NUAA expands China-Vietnam education cooperation with new partnership pacts

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics signed new cooperation agreements with Hanoi University of Science and Technology during the China-Vietnam Forum on Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation held at Tsinghua University in Beijing on April 14.

The two universities also held discussions on a joint undergraduate training program and reached a cooperation agreement memorandum. Under the program, outstanding students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology who complete their first two years of study in Vietnam will continue the final two years of their undergraduate education at NUAA. Upon graduation, students will receive bachelor's degrees awarded by NUAA.

During the forum, Jiang delivered a keynote speech in English, highlighting the importance of building a new education system suited to the AI era.

He said higher education institutions should focus on improving AI literacy among both teachers and students, promoting the integration of AI with academic disciplines, shifting toward competency-based talent training and reshaping learning environments.

According to Jiang, NUAA plans to develop 100 AI-integrated courses as part of its efforts to advance educational innovation and digital transformation.
