Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics unveiled its Tianmuhu Innovation Institute on May 28.
At the inauguration ceremony, four research centers of the institute were also launched, namely the Intelligent Aircraft Research Center, the Long-Duration Energy Storage Research Center, the Medical Engineering Integration Innovation Research Center, and the New Energy Materials and Devices Research Center.

The new institute is also designed to serve as a bridge between NUAA's research strengths and the industrial development needs of Liyang, a county-level city in Changzhou, where the university's Tianmuhu campus is located. It aims to accelerate the commercialization of advanced technologies and promote the development of emerging industries in Liyang.
